Dhayam - A Dice Game
Dhayam is a dice game from the South Indian region of Tamil Nadu. It is also called Dhayam, thayam, dayam, thayam, etc.
Dhayam, Dayakattai, Dhayam, thayam, or thayam are all terms for dice games. The main features are the same as they are in the popular dice game, Pachisi Dayakattai. It is played by 4 players or multiple players with each player taking a turn. If you are a fan of dice games, this is the most suitable game for you. You can choose to play the game with either single dice or multiple dice. Each player gets 2 dice, and if they roll the same number, then they move the same amount. If they roll the same number, then they get to roll again. They can move the number of spaces and advance their piece by the number rolled.
Players can move their pieces around the board in order to get them home. Each player has their own legs that contain spaces and pieces. Players move their pieces along the outer edge of their legs until they get to the corner of the board. Then they can move the number of spaces indicated by the number rolled and advance their pieces. The pieces stay on the corners of the board and cannot be cut.
